  • Oracle Announces JavaOne and Oracle Develop 2011 in India

    New Delhi: Oracle today announced details about the JavaOne and Oracle Develop 2011 conferences to be held on May 10-11, 2011, at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre in Hyderabad.

    The conferences are aimed at further strengthening capabilities of developers and offering them a platform to learn more about the most recent developments in the areas of Java and Oracle development tools.

    JavaOne, the premier event for the Java developer community, is being held in India for the first time. The event will allow delegates to explore, share and collaborate on the latest developments and technologies related to Java.

    Oracle Develop will have sessions that focus on Oracle products and technology, which are based on open standards, including Java.

    The conferences this year will be extensive with over 100 sessions spread across 9 tracks. Oracle will also have two live demonstration labs – all instructor-led. Attendees can choose to participate in any sessions as the two conferences are co-located.

    JavaOne and Oracle Develop will cover topics essential to the technology community and will provide hands-on learning focused on Java and next-generation development tools from Oracle, including rich enterprise applications (REAs), mobility, and service-oriented architecture (SOA).

    The conferences will feature an impressive lineup of keynote speakers, including Nandini Ramani, Vice President of Java Client Development at Oracle in the Fusion Middleware Group; Param Singh, Senior Director for Java Product Management at Oracle, Amit Zavery, Vice President of Product Management for Oracle Fusion Middleware and Java, products and Hal Stern – Vice President and the CTO of the Junos Space Business Unit, Juniper Networks.

    Java Champions and Oracle ACE Directors will share their experiences. Some of the speakers include:
