  • Over 200 crores business generated in IESS 2012

    Mumbai: EEPC India’s maiden show was a hit amongst international and domestic traders.

    Over 7000 buyers including 553 international delegates visited the three day exposition at Goregaon Exhibition Center, Mumbai.

    Speaking to the Press Mr Aman Chadha, Chairman, EEPC India expressed his immense satisfaction, on the proceedings at Indian Export Sourcing Show 2012 (IESS) and confirmed his plans to come up with a next edition of the show.

    “We are truly satisfied with IESS 2012, and the visitors strength of 7000 has surpassed all our expectations. We have an estimated business generation of Rs. 200 crores and another Rs. 300 crores should be in the pipe line” informed Mr. Chadha.

    “The format of IESS 2012, accommodation of trade, investments and vendor development was accepted well by the visiting community and we had tapped sessions in all our vendor development and investment promotion seminars” added Mr Chadha.

    IESS 2012, saw three days of intense business sessions with various presentations by RDSO, Mazgaon dock limited, BHEL Ltd, BEML, Gail, EIL, HEC, NTPC etc. This was combined with “Innovate India seminars organized by ‘National Research Development Corporation’ and a series of investment promotion activities.

    “ Our overseas buyer delegations from Africa, Latin America, CIS, ASEAN, and SAARC countries found Indian Engineering products on display interesting and this has resulted in signing of several on the spot orders as well, concluded Mr. Chadha.
