  • SAN DIEGO :  PacketVideo, a global leader in mobile media applications, today announced John Driver has been named Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).  Mr. Driver brings over 20 years of enterprise technology industry experience.

    Prior to PacketVideo, Mr. Driver was Co-Founder & CEO of JoynIn, a mobile commerce technology start-up.  He also lead global field marketing at Serena, a $275M enterprise software company, where he managed marketing teams across eight countries.  Mr. Driver also lead the enterprise & mid-market strategy team at Sun Microsystems, a $13B enterprise computer hardware & software company (since acquired by Oracle), across 15 international sales regions.  Mr. Driver holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
