Mumbai : World Environment Day (June 5) aims to nurture awareness about the significance of respecting and contributing with your bit towards nature. Honouring this day, P. D. Hinduja Hospital & Medical Research Centre organized an event with young children who illustrated inspirational memos through wall paintings to spread their “Go Green” message.
The hospital took permission from authorities for children to conduct a wall-painting exercise at Dhote Udyan (opposite P.D. Hinduja Hospital). The idea was to create awareness about the importance of a clean and green environment, which was well executed by more than 50 children of the hospital staff and the neighborhood who jointly expressed their commitment towards a green world.
Rendering his support towards this cause, Mr. Gautam Khanna, CEO, P. D. Hinduja Hospital & MRC said, “Preservation of our environment plays an important role in maintaining good quality of life of the citizens and we are privileged to be a part of this initiative. Our hospital always strives towards providing the best quality healthcare and care for Mother Nature. Displaying interesting visual pictorials of thoughts is a fascinating way of motivating people to work towards a healthy environment.”
P. D. Hinduja Hospital has undertaken several such events in the past and has been an active partner towards sustaining our environment.
