  • Pick-holding Innovation Finally Solves Persistent Problem for Guitarists: Now Halfway Through Campaign on Kickstarter

England : Adrian Hayward was performing professionally around his area of South West England and he found that he was always struggling with where to store his pick for easy retrieval during performances. This most challenged him when changing between using Pick-holding Innovation Finally Solves Persistent Problem for Guitarists: Now Halfway Through Campaign on Kickstartera pick and fingerstyle. He would balance it on the music stand, balance it on the guitar or even hold it between his teeth. The last option, although more effective than the other two, only worked if he wasn’t singing. Adrian had seen many other guitarists struggle with this same issue. So he invented Pick Tack.

Pick Tack is a very simple but beautifully designed pick holder with a twist. As well as storing 3 picks, like many conventional holders, it has a putty pad that enables you to stick and retrieve your plectrum quickly and easily when you’re playing. Unlike most plectrum holders which keep the pick flush with the storage surface, making it difficult to grab, Pick Tack is unique: it lets you choose the pick angle which is best for you, lightly holding the pick just a hair’s breadth from your playing hand for instant, effortless retrieval. This is the Formula 1 of pick holders: if you use a mixture of pick and fingerstyle, then Pick Tack is the ideal solution for you!

All the hard work’s been done and everything’s in place to make Pick Tack become a reality. The only thing hindering progress is the funds needed for some more necessary product development and manufacturing costs. At halfway through the campaign, Pick Tack is 14% funded with £21,500 to go. Kickstarter’s method is all or nothing. If the target is not reached, no pledges are collected and Pick Tack will not make it to the store shelf. Every pledge on Kickstarter will bring Pick Tack closer to reaching its £25,000 target so that production can go ahead.

But it isn’t charity – backing Pick Tack brings various rewards and selecting the £10 or limited £8 option for a 20% discount is much like pre-ordering a Pick Tack. Backers will be part of turning it from just a great idea into something that guitarists the world over will be able to give a home to on their guitars.
