  • Radhe Guru Maa honored in Annual Shobha Yatra

    Punjab: Mamtamai Shri Radhe Guru Maa was honored by the citizens of Mukerian in Hoshiarpur at Punjab, who had invited the Hindu guru to participate in their annual Shobha Yatra on occasion of Ram Navmi on 8 April 2014.

    Mamtamai Shri Radhe Guru Maa in Mukeria.PunjabThe Shobha Yatra, which also included other sadhus, mahanta and saints of various Hindu lineages, began at Paramhans Bag Temple and passed through prominent landmarks of the city before concluding at the spot it had begun. Citizens of Mukerian lined the streets on the auspicious occasion to shower flower petals, sing bhajans and ensured that the procession moved without any hindrance or delay.

    The Guru is currently in Punjab to oversee social betterment programs organised by the Mamtamai Shri Radhe Guru Maa Charitable Trust which supports old age homes, orphanages and institutions for people with special needs, gaushalas and NGOs that work for providing employment skills to women in rural and semi-rural areas.

    “The Shobha Yatra is an annual event that has been organised for several years now. Mamtamai Shri Radhe Guru Maa began her spiritual journey from Mukerian and holds a special place in her heart for the devotees here. She has been accepting their invitation to participate in the Shobha Yatra for some years now. Her presence makes it possible for a number of devotees to have her darshan and gives everyone involved the opportunity to serve respected saints of Sanatan Hindu Dharma,” said Sanjeev Gupta, a trustee of the Mamtamai Shri Radhe Guru Maa Charitable Trust and a sevadar of the guru.
