Here is some good news about the book readers who love to read books on the go and at the same time want to do away with carrying the books with them. RockASAP Retails Pvt Ltd, a unit of handygo Technologies, India’s leading provider of MVAS services today announced the launch of ROCKSTAND, an e-book and e-magazine application which will be available on the RockASAP platform. ROCKSTAND was launched with great fanfare for its international audience at the Frankfurt Book Fair. With this launch RockASAP is the first Indian company to do an International launch at the Frankfurt Book Fair.

Keeping with its trends of uniqueness, RockASAP Retails will be running a contest during the fair wherein every visitor who visits the stall, experiences / uses ROCKSTAND application and also gives a feedback on it will stand a chance to win a brand new I-pad. The result will be announced after the speaker session on 13th Oct 2012. The application has received a wonderful response from the international publishers and Indian publishers.

Mr. Rajpal further added “Currently we are launching the international version of the application in Frankfurt Book Fair with German content. We will soon be launching the Indian version of the application which will be available in 18 languages and will also have regional books which are not easily available at every bookstore these days. We have already tied up with many leading telecom majors as well as handset manufacturers and with plans to get everyone under the gamut of ROCKSTAND. The idea is that every book lover should have the opportunity to access, download and buy books through ROCKSTAND”.

Further to this, Mr Prem Prakash, Associate VP, Handygo Techonologies was also one of the Key Speaker at FICCI Business Lunch Session at Frankfurt Book Fair wherein he shared his views on “Book Consumers and the new Business Model”.
