Bangalore:   Rotary Bangalore Indiranagar is conducting its annual swimming competition meant for boys and girls of the ‘non-medalist’ category on Wednesday, January 7th, 2014 at the BAC Swimming Pool, Basavangudi. This competition is for boys and girls in Group III, IV and V, who have not won a medal in any swimming events/competition organized by SFK, KSA or SGFI. Rotary Indiranagar have been successfully organizing this annual swimming event for the non-medalist sub juniors as part of their youth development activities for the last 24 years. Rtn.Sivasankaran N, Director-Youth Service, Rotary Bangalore Indiranagar shared, “Considering the fact that this is the 25th year of this tournament you can imagine the popularity of this event and the impression it has created in young minds. Every year a few hundreds of young boys and girls participate in this day long event and all the Aquatic Clubs in Bangalore are only too willing to nominate their wards for this competition.”
