  • Mumbai : With a tinge of coconut, a hint of sour from the zesty tamarind, a dash of Indian spices and an aroma of fresh curry leaves, South India is known for its South_Indian_Food_ Festival_at_Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel (2)distinctive cuisines that blend together beautifully. Each state of South India depicts a different food culture and in order to serve the best of each South Indian dish, Lake View Café at Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre and Hotel is hosting a South Indian food festival from August 8th – 17th, 2014.

    At the food festival, patrons can try a different South Indian menu every day that will be as authentic as it’s served in South India. Guests will be greeted with a welcome drink which will include traditional bSouth_Indian_Food_ Festival_at_Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel (1)everages like Elumichai Pazam Inghi Kulirpanam, Mambaza Kulirpanam, Pal Ulandara Pazangal, Vazapaza Paal to name a few. Besides a huge variety of soups, salads and savouries like Maysore Rassam, Elumichapazham, Muttai Rassam, Meen Pachadi, Thattai Butter Murukku, Karaboondhi, Pazapaza Verval, etc., guests can relish mouthwatering starters like Masala Wadai, Murgh 65, Pasi Paruppu Pakoda, Calicut Kozha Roast, Podi Idli, etc. The live stations will include Dosa, Uttapam, Appam and Paratha.

    Guests can enjoy an assortment of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes such as Kozhi Korma, Meen Verval, Irachi Urulai Kizangu, Vendakki Vatalkuzambu, U0ppukathrakaai Curry, Kadalai Paruppu and more.
