  • image005Jaipur : The Board of Directors of State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur approved the financial results of the Bank for the nine months ended 31st December 2014 at its meeting held on Wednesday, the 28th January 2015 at Jaipur.  The accounts have been subjected to a limited review by the Bank’s Statutory Central Auditors.

    The Bank has achieved consistent growth with its business level reaching a figure of Rs.1,48,633 crores, an increase of 13.06% over the corresponding period last year.

    The Bank recorded Gross Profit of Rs.1668.23 crores for the nine months ended 31st December 2014 which is higher by 5.57% when compared to Gross Profit of Rs.1580.17 crores during the corresponding period last year. The Bank’s Operating Profit increased by 25.10% to Rs.1489.25 crores as on 31.12.2014 from Rs.1190.47 crores for the period ended as on 31.12.2013. During the same period, the Bank’s Net Profit at Rs.496.62 crores is higher by 0.52% as against the Net profit of Rs.494.06 crores recorded during corresponding period last year.

    During the subject nine months, Net Interest Income of the Bank rose by 7.55% to Rs.2240.70 crores from Rs.2083.32 crores of corresponding period last year.

    The provision coverage ratio has increased to 58.57% as on 31.12.2014 from 56.67% as on 31.03.2014.

    The bank has added 64 branches and 95 ATMs during the quarter taking total branches to 1261 and ATMs to 1776 as on 31.12.2014. Of the total 1261 branches, 1013 are in the state of Rajasthan.

    The Bank is in the fore front of providing Technology Enabled Solutions to the customers.  With this in mind, the Bank has introduced state of the art e-lobby at Jaipur, Delhi, Kota and other places.

    SBBJ stands committed to meeting the banking needs of all segments of customers across the country, with Rajasthan as its primary service area.  As a responsible Corporate Citizen, the Bank has been engaged with the Society at various levels.  To contribute in “SWACH BHARAT ABHIYAN”, Bank has built 404 toilets in 202 Girls’ School in Rajasthan as well as other parts of the country.  During Dec 2014 quarter, on the occasion of Armed Forces Flag Day, Bank made donation in Armed Forces Flag Fund to help Ex-servicemen, War Widows and their relatives. The branches of the Bank have adopted one girl child of a poor family by providing scholarship of Rs.500/- to the child per month.
