Supreme Court has proposed Sunil Gavaskar as interim President of BCCI following N Srinivasan readiness to resign. Court has also proposed that any person related to India cements should npt ne associated with the BCCI.

In the interim proposal, the apex court has asked CSK and Rajasthan Royals to be out of the IPL.

Earlier, BCCI had given its proposal assuring the Supreme Court of initiating disciplinary proceedings on the basis of the recommendations of the Justice Mukul Mudgal committee report.

BCCI had also asked for a “time-bound” inquiry into the scandal.

BCCI chief N Srinivasan refused to step down on Thursday; BCCI however gave its proposal assuring the apex court of initiating disciplinary proceedings on the basis of the recommendations of the Mudgal committee report.

BCCI has also ask for a “time-bound” inquiry into the scandal. The developments have come after the apex court observed that he should step down from his post for a fair probe into the IPL fixing scandal.
