Snapping a nine-day losing streak, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange jumped 308 points, or 1.7 percent, to close at 18,519, today, as investors bought beaten-down stocks, amid falling crude oil and other commodity prices. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange rose 92 points, or 1.7 percent, to 5,551.
