Siddharth Soni is a young aspiring actor and social activist who has brought change in the lives of many children in villages and slums in and around the city of Udaipur. He is the founder of the Siddham Sansthan which is a Non Profit Organization aimed at providing financial and other help to the children enrolled in Government schools in various underdeveloped villages.

The team of Siddham consists of young college going students who go village to village to help children in distress. Four years ago, a group of friends went for a casual trip around the city of Udaipur and found that despite being enrolled in rural schools, children in the Dheekli village weren’t adequately equipped to pay attention to studies. Siddharth Soni and his friends decided to contribute a portion of their pocket money to buy these needy children enough warm clothes and shoes for them to be able to study properly. In today’s date, the team of Siddham, under the leadership and guidance of Siddharth, works towards distributing not only sweaters and shoes but also uniforms, books and stationery to the children in the Government and rural schools of the villages and slums around the city of Udaipur. Siddharth Soni has extended help to the children of more than twenty villages and their rural schools.

Siddham has raised funds by the methods of crowdfunding and sponsorships. Till date, the people in the team continue to pitch in their pocket money and portions of stipends earned from their college internships and workshops.

By continually working for the welfare and upliftment of the rural children, Siddharth Soni has started recognizing other problems that come in the way of steady education. His aim is to resolve all of them so as to enable children to a seamless process of getting educated and finishing their schooling.
