Plymouth resident Deborah O’Brien returns to the publishing scene with the release of “The End of the Beginning” (published by Balboa Press), a fictional story about two people whose chance meeting and subsequent relationship illustrates old-fashioned but powerful virtues.

As Joanne and Joe navigate through their faults and flaws, and overcome their trials and tribulations, readers are reminded of the importance of maintaining positivity and balance during turbulent times.

“The End of the Beginning” is different from other romantic novellas in the sense that it is not all about finding the happy ending, but finding lasting happiness despite the circumstances.
