  • Mumbai : State Bank of India (SBI), India’s largest lender, re-affirmed its identity in the online space by launching a unique DSC_2192YouTube channel.  This is in quick succession after SBI launched its Facebook page in November last year.

    Aimed at existing and prospective customers at large, the channel be a 24×7 medium airing the bank’s legacy, a product & services TVC (to start with) and will gradually broad-base the content to include corporate social responsibility initiatives, etc.

    On this occasion, Ms. Arundhati Bhattacharya, Chairman, State Bank of India said, “It is the bank’s constant endeavour to enhance Customer experience through continuous innovations. The YouTube channel is another platform that will enable us to connect with our customers. SBI will continue to spread its footprint on social media through the launch of platforms like Twitter, shortly. ”

    State Bank of India already has a robust Internet Banking through offerings like online banking, RTGS/NEFT etc. The YouTube channel will help in further enhancing the bank’s connect with the youth and technology savvy potential citizens of this country through social media.
