St. Louis, Mo. : The Battlegrounds, St. Louis’ only permanent mud run and obstacle course, recently held its seventh bi-annual race and collected 509 pounds of food for Operation Food Search.  The donation is valued at $860.21 and represents enough food to feed 127 people for one day.

The canned food was sent to Agape Ministry of Warren County, which feeds approximately 1,000 Warren County residents each month at its food pantries located in Warrenton and Wright City.

“We are proud to work with Operation Food Search once again,” said The Battlegrounds’ owner Carl Bolm.  “Less people will go hungry in our nearby community thanks to the support of our dedicated runners.”
