  • Mumbai : The Food Bloggers Association India is set to host a one of a kind award function, the India Food Bloggers Award 2013 (IFBA) for the bloggers community in India at the JW Marriott Mumbai. The IFBA 2013 awards will DSCN7797formally honor winners and finalists in various categories like restaurant review, recipe and culinary travel amongst others by an esteemed jury that includes Chef Sanjeev Kapoor, Kunal Vijayakar, Zarovar Kalra, Rushina Ghidiyal, Ritu Dalmia, Rashmi Uday Singh, Sona Bahadur Hari Nayak, Aneesha Baig, Vikram Doctor, Kajal Tejsingani and Aditya Bal at JW Marriott Mumbai on 14th October 2013 from 7.30 pm onwards.

    The awards ceremony at JW Marriott Mumbai will bring together the food bloggers, jury members, partners and food enthusiasts from the industry to promote food blogging, and share thoughts, opinions and ideas.

    The objective of Food Bloggers Association of India (FBAI), a community of over 7500+ food bloggers, photographers, critics, reviewers, stylists, foodies and entrepreneurs is to help and promote blogging and food bloggers across India. To facilitate this mandate as an association, the India Food Bloggers Awards 2013 (IFBA 2013) came into being to recognize and reward food bloggers in a structured and formal process.

    JW Marriott Mumbai, the renowned culinary destination in Mumbai known for its authentic cuisine, will host the maiden IFBA 2013. The luxury hotel has an array of restaurants serving diverse cuisines like Arola – Restaurant and Bar, the fine dining two-Michelin star Chef Sergi Arola restaurant serving award winning Spanish cuisine; Lotus Café, the 24-hour all day dining restaurant; Mezzo Mezzo, the Italian countryside cuisine restaurant is under the supervision of an expert chef from the Tuscan region; Saffron, showcasing authentic Awadhi food from the royal homes of Lucknow; Spices, Thai and Japanese cuisine prepared by accomplished chef from Thailand; Bombay Baking Company, serving delicious homemade breads, sandwiches, cakes, pastries and a range of exotic foods from around the world; and Reflections, where guests can enjoy single malts and cocktails overlooking the beautiful Lotus pond. The restaurants offer a sumptuous array of delicacies and provide an authentic dining experience to their patrons.
