    Published on February 3, 2024

We welcome the Interim Budget as it promotes social inclusivity in the healthcare sector. The measures announced for the healthcare sector will address key issues. The Initiatives such as promoting cervical cancer vaccination for girls aged 9-14, and Poshan 2.0, an integrated nutrition support program, will be accelerated to enhance nutrition delivery, early childhood care, and development, alongside other maternal and child healthcare schemes. These measures will improve access to quality healthcare, particularly for women, and help prevent life-threatening diseases. These reflect the government’s commitment to providing benefits to specific groups, particularly women and the underprivileged.
