  • Vodafone rings in the New Year with ‘Go BBM’ service plan in India

    Mumbai: Vodafone India, one of India’s leading telecommunications service providers, ushered in the New Year with a new BlackBerry® service plan – Go BBM for its prepaid and postpaid customers. This unique plan to be launched next week offers unlimited access to BBM™ (BlackBerry® Messenger), one of the largest mobile social networks in the world, for Rs 5 per day or Rs 129/- per month for prepaid and fixed price of Rs. 129/- per month for postpaid subscribers.

    Additionally, as part of the introductory offer, subscribers who purchase a BlackBerry® Curve™ 8520 or BlackBerry® Curve™ 9300 Smartphone by the end of February 2012 can avail one year of unlimited access to the BBM™ service from the date of purchase.

Our Go BBM plan aims to extend the BBM service to our customers across segments at affordable prices.     BBM is one of the largest mobile social networks with over 50 million users. It offers instant messaging for BlackBerry Smartphone owners, letting users communicate in real time with the people who matter most. It includes features like immediate confirmation that a message has been delivered and read, as well as the as the ability for users to choose to share their location, or exchange pictures, videos, voice notes, files and more with their BBM contacts.
