Wholesale Price Index inflation dips to record low of (-) 2.33% in March as food and fuel products get cheaper.
Wholesale prices declined for the fifth month in a row in March, taking inflation to its lowest in the current data series that started in 2005 and raising prospects of a cut in interest rates despite a moderate rise in retail inflation in the month.
Wholesale inflation drops to 2.33 per cent in March, from 2.06 per cent in February.
