At least 16 people were injured in a handgrenade attack Thursday morning in district Bannu in the northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan, local media reported.
According to the reports, an unidentified person has attacked a shop with a handgrenade in the crowded downtown oil bazaar.
Police have cordoned off the area following the attack, but no suspects have been arrested.
All the injured have been shifted to the district headquarters hospital. Hospital sources said most of the injured are in stable condition.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
