New Delhi; Communication and IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad today said that 2100 Mega hertz spectrum will be auctioned in the next 2 to 3 months.

 

Addressing a press Conference in New Delhi on the completion of two years of NDA government, Mr Prasad said, last year the Spectrum was auctioned online with transparency and it fetched highest ever revenue of 1.1 lakh crore rupees.

 

He said, direct Benefit transfer has helped more than 30 crore beneficiaries and nearly 61 thousand crore rupees were transfered online. He also said, mobile connections increased by more than 12 crore during the last two years.

 

Mr Prasad said, during the last two years Post offices became country’s largest core banking network. He said post office ATMs have gone up to 942 from just four.
