An all-party meeting on the Naxal issue began in Raipur a shortwhile ago. The meeting convened by Chattisgarh Chief Minister Dr.Raman Singh is bieng attended by BJP,CPI,CPM,NCP and BSP. Congress is boycotting the meeting. The Chief Minister is likely to seek suggestions from leaders of political parties on the Naxal issue and brief them on the law and order situation in the state.

Congress maintained that such meetings have no meaning as the state government did nothing to provide security to the Congress leaders in the state.
