In West Bengal, 15 people were killed and 3 injured in a road accident at Madarihat in Alipurdwar District this morning. While 7 people, including the bride and the groom, died on the spot, 8 succumbed to their injuries later. According to police sources, the incident occurred when a vehicle carrying a marriage party collided head on with a trailer which was coming from opposite side on the national highway. Injured passengers have been admitted into local hospital. Victims are residents of Kalchini of adjoining Jalpaigudi District.
