Haflong  : Assam Finance Minister Dr. Hemanta Biswa Sharma’s Campaign for election to 12^th N C Hills Autonomous Council in Dima Hasao draws huge crowd.

 

Dr. Hemanta Biswa Sharma accompanied by minister Pijus Hazarika along with Chief Executive Member, Debolal Gorlosa, MLA B B Hagjer,  members of Autonomous council NCHAC attended and addressed  a series of election meetings at  Langting, Kalachand, Mahur and Haflong town.

In the meeting, Dr Sharma announced that, extra rupees 10 cr special package would be sanctioned to the constituencies like Hatikali, Langting, Maibang west, Maibang East, Kalachand, Mahur And Dauthuhaja for roads and  all round development while highlighting the developmental works done by the central, state and the council.

He also stated that, the revenues gaining from the North Eastern Electric Power Corporation (NEEPCo) 6 % of which would be given to Autonomous council Dima Hasao. And this will be finalized during the next session. He also said that the Assam Government led by CM Sonowal and his cabinet is committed to all round development of Dima Hasao. He is here not to mislead the people but to help them to make Dima Hasao strong and self dependent. He further said that the people of Dima Hasao have realized the fact the BJP is the only party which can develop them irrespective of caste, creed and religion.

Finally, He appealed the people to vote for Bharatiya Janata Party for all round Development in Dima Hasao.
