Haflong: Asom Gana Parishad nominated candidate Sri Moril Masa demanded re-polls in Jatinga M E school polling station of No 2 Jatinga Constituency suspecting irregularities in voting by some people.
Masa alleged that Sri Flaming Shyla Rupsi independent candidate from Jatinga constituency also the Gaon Bura after entering the polling booth closed the door of the polling station from inside and what he did inside the polling none can imagined which is totally against the rules election. More over one female election agent of AGP was allegedly beaten up by stick and also threatened by volunteers of Rupsi which is condemnable with strong words. Masa requested the authority to take stern action against perpetrator of such crime. Masa also alleged that the security was total failure in this matter where a lady election agent was physically assaulted.
External Siangshai, BJP candidate from no 2 Jatinga constituency also made an allegation of booth capturing and condemned the incident. He also demanded stern action against the culprit so that this incident would not repeat in future.
Sri Flaming Shyla Rupsi however denied the allegation and said this was not a serious issue and was mitigated amicably.
