Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat hasstressed the need for a holistic approach to fight the challenges of bothdrought and floods in the country.

He was speaking at a workshop on floodmanagement in New Delhi today.

Mr Shekhawat said that challenges of climatechallenge and unpredictability of monsoon have emerged as one of the greatestproblems facing India.
