Acharya Devvrat takes oath as new Governor of Gujarat

In Gujarat, Shri Acharya Devvrat took the oath as a new Governor of the state today.
Acting Chief Justice of Gujarat High Court administered the oath in presence of outgoing Governor Shri O.P. Kohli, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, and Speaker of the state Assembly Rajendra Trivedi along with other dignitaries.
Oath taking ceremony was held at Rajbhavan campus in Gandhinagar. AIR correspondent reports that Acharya Devvrat took the oath in the Sanskrit language. He along with his family members visited Sabarmati Gandhi Ashram soon after taking the oath.
