Haflong :The preparations for hosting the Falcon festival at golf course near umrangso are in full swing.

The festival aimed to create awareness about the conservation of birds and animals among masses and to promote tourism is being organised by N C Hills autonomous council from November 15 to 17.

Showcasing of tradition culture and also ethnic cuisines of different communities will be a major part.

In addition there will be fashion show, bands from out side the state and local.

It is expected that people from various parts of country would be coming to witness the mega event.

Above all, people will also get the opportunity to watch Amur Falcon at roosting hub near the Neepco reservoir.

Nandita Gorlosa, Executive Member, N C Hills autonomous council, said everything is going on very well and are to host this event with active support from Chief Executive Member, NCHillsAutonomus Council Debolal Gorlosa.
