CBDT issues over Rs 1,21,607 Cr refunds to taxpayers between April 1 to October 6 this year

The Central Board of Direct Taxes, CBDT has issued refunds of over one lakh 21 thousand 607 crore rupees to more than 35 lakh 93 thousand taxpayers between 1st of April to 6th of October this year.
CBDT said, Income tax refunds of 33 thousand 238 crore rupees have been issued in over 34 lakh cases and corporate tax refunds of over 88 thousand crore rupees have been issued in over one lakh 83 thousand cases.
