President Ram Nath Kovind paid tributes to Swami Dayanand Saraswati on his birth anniversary. In his message, Mr Kovind called Swami Dayanand Saraswati a beacon of Indian renaissance and nationalism that began in the 19th century.

He said Swami Dayanand Saraswati is honoured as one of the leading nation-builders of India because of the social, educational and religious reforms led by him.
