Haflong : Denizens of Harangajao in general and of Buolmuol in particular protested against the poor mobile network and frequent power failure in Harangajao today.

Maintaining the Covid protocol the people Buolmuol village staged demonstration holding placards demanding immediate restoration of mobile network and regular power supply.

They said BSNL, Aitel, Vodaphone etc erected towers at various places in Harangajao to provide mobile network to consumers but failed miserably for their indifferent attitude. Despite repeated approaches all the companies never feel it necessary to provide proper network to them, they alleged. Due to such inconvenience caused due poor network and power failure, the students’ community has become the worst sufferers of such negligence.

Talking to the media Daniel Lungtau, Secretary, HSA Harangajao Block and Ebenezar Hmar, Vice President, HSA Harangajao Block explained how the people and the students are being faced difficulties due to poor mobile network and frequent power failure at Harangajao. This time they have protested with very limited members for covid situation but if the authority concerned fails to address their genuine demands, they would be bound to launch stronger agitation near future, they warned.
