GUWAHATI : The NSCN-led GPRN, a militant outfit, has threatened 11 MLAs from Tirup, Changlang and Longding districts of Arunachal Pradesh to withdraw support from the Pema Khandu-led BJP government. The organization has issued a letter of pressure. It has threatened to withdraw support from mlAs as well as pressure. The letter explains the Naga issue. The organisation said that as much as “NSCN/GPRN” opposes India’s hegemony, we will continue to reject and fight all its discriminatory laws in our country. A pressure letter issued by the organisation said “NSCN/GPRN” hereby strongly condemns the illegal and indiscretional move by the Government of India to wipe out the word ‘Naga’ in the Naga areas of the so-called state of Arunachal Pradesh.

The Government of India, along with the Arunachal Government and some corrupt Naga leaders, has worked to remove ‘any Naga tribe’ and recognized Tangsa, Tutsa, Nokte and Wancho as separate identities under its Constitution”. In this very important moment, if the support is not withdrawn, the situation and the consequences can be terrible at any time. “This is a gross insult to the ongoing Naga conflict and clearly indicates that India has deliberately undermined and ignored the legitimate rights, identity and history of the Naga people,” the letter said. The letter written on September 15 asks for thousands of people. For years, the Nagas lived proudly and peacefully on their present land in arunachal pradesh, manipur, nagaland and so-called states of Assam and eastern (Myanmar).(Naga) never knew foreign power, until the British set foot on their ground in the early 1830s and fought with teeth and nails to protect every inch of their country. The organization said that after the departure of the British in 1947, both India and Burma implemented similar colonial policies and forcibly entered and captured the Naga country, which led to armed clashes till date. The NSCN said India’s continued refusal to respect and recognise the legitimate Naga cause is a major violation of UN Security Council resolutions and also questions its serious commitment to international laws. The word ‘Naga’ binds the Nagas together as a person and we will never give up for anything in the world.
