New Delhi: A BSF jawan was killed today in ceasefire violation by Pakistani troops in Macchil sector of Kupwars along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Defence sources, Constable Koli Nitin Subhash, hailing from Sangli in Maharashtra, was martyred this morning in firing by Pakistani security forces.

The fresh casualty came hours after terrorists, aided by the cover fire by Pakistani Army, Friday night crossed the Line of Control in the same sector.
They killed an Indian Army jawan and mutilated his body prompting the Indian Army to warn that “the incident will be responded appropriately”.

Four Army and three BSF personnel have been killed in the latest escalation along the boundary with Pakistan in Jammu and Kashmir.

Pakistan Rangers also violate ceasefire in RS Pura and Kathua sectors along International Border today.
