In Afghanistan, seven terrorists belonging to the Islamic State were killed in an airstrike in eastern Nangarhar province.

Local media reports said that the same number of terrorists from the Taliban were detained during a raid carried out by Afghan forces in the province.

The Afghan National Defence and Security Forces supported by the US-led coalition have been conducting joint operations to combat terrorism across the country.
