  • AIIMS to launch cash cards to make payments

    The All India Institute of Medical Sciences will soon launch cash card facility that will considerably reduce the time patients waste in queues while making payment for various tests. Talking to the All India Radio, the spokesperson of AIIMS, Dr. Y.K. Gupta, said that the facility once started, patient can buy a pre-paid card at a cost of 10 rupees from the Hospital’s registration counter. Dr.Gupta said that patients can recharge their cards with a minimum amount of 100 to a maximum of one lakh rupees from the branches of the State Bank of India.The scheme will begin on pilot basis in the next 15 days at the Cardiac Neuro Centre of the hospital.
