Volcanic ash from Chile continues to disrupt air travel in Australia and New Zealand

In Afghanistan, thirty-two Taliban militants have been killed and 25 wounded, during an operation in the western Afghan province of Badghis. The Afghan Army Commander, General Shahzada said in Herat on Sunday that the operation was intensified on Saturday night and since then over 57 Taliban fighters have been killed, wounded and captured. He said, unfortunately, four Afghan army soldiers were killed and 3 others wounded during the operation.
