    Anti Government protests continue in some countries in West Asia region.

    In Yemen, police fired rubber bullets and tear gas on protesters in the capital Sanaa, wounding at least 65 people. The demonstrators in Yemen are calling for an end to President Ali Abdullah Saleh’s 32-year-old rule. Reports quoting hospital sources say that six of the wounded are in a serious condition.

    The state news agency Saba however blamed the shooting on a gunmen linked to a tribal leader and said three demonstrators and three policemen were injured.

    In another incident, thousands of inmates riot at a prison in Sanaa, taking a dozen guards hostage.

    Police said at least one prisoner is killed and 80 people were wounded in the incident. Yemen has been rocked by weeks of protests against the president the last several weeks.

    In Bahrain, three Shiite opposition groups have formed a coalition for a Bahraini Republic to push for their demands. This was told in a statement of Wafa, Haq and Bahrain Freedom Movement.

    The statement says they will work for the establishment of a democratic republic in Bahrain.

    Meanwhile protestors are camping at Pearl Square in support of their demands.

    In Egypt, one person killed in clashes between Christians and Muslims in Cairo while hundreds of Egyptian women organized a protest demanding an end to sexual harassment and equal rights.
