  • Attack on a town in South Sudan kills 75 people

    At least 75 people have been killed in South Sudan in an attack on a town in oil rich Unity State. It is the worst of violence since the South became independent in July. The rebels from the South Sudan Liberation Army, the SSLA, claim they are now in control of the town of Mayom.
