Bengaluru: The Department of Management Studies and Research Centre, BMS College of Engineering is organising the much awaited and celebrated QUEST 2015 on the theme “Uncommon Success of a Common Man”. The two-day intercollegiate management meet will be held on March 27-28, 2015 at the college campus on Bull Temple Road. Around 35 different institutions are expected to participate in this year’s fest from in and around Bengaluru.

The two-day annual managerial extravaganza is intended to provide excellent practical orientation to the development and application of leadership and managerial qualities. QUEST also provides a platform for students from various institutions to display their multifarious managerial talents. QUEST will include various events like Leadership Event, Finance, Marketing, Human Resource, Business Quiz and Signature Event.

Dr. S. Nagendra, Dean of MBA, BMSCE said, “We seek to amalgamate the best of Science and Management with creativity, bringing to the foray an astounding sight that promises to leave people spellbound. Many colleges in India have a Best Manager competition, but the BMSCE-MBA QUEST has a Leadership Competition as we believe that the role of a leader is much important and bigger than a Manager.”

QUEST was started in the year 2011 and since then it has completed four successful editions with the themes- Social Entrepreneurship (2011), Save the Tiger (2012), Gandhian Principles in Management (2013) and Aikya – Unity in Diversity (2014).

The event will be inaugurated in by the Chief Guest MR. S. Suresh Hari Secretary, CREDAI in the presence of Dr. Mallikharjuna Babu, Principal of BMSCE.
