CBI files FIR against Jagan Mohan Reddy in disproportionate assets case

In Andhra Pradesh, the CBI has filed an FIR against YSR Congress chief Jagan Mohan Reddy in connection with a disproportionate assets case.
The agency also filed a petition in a special court in Hyderabad seeking its permission to conduct searches at his premises.
Meanwhile, Jagan has moved the Supreme Court challenging the Andhra Pradesh High Court’s order directing CBI to have a thorough inquiry against him for his alleged disproportionate assets.
The Andhra Pradesh High Court on the 10th of this month had directed the CBI to conduct a thorough investigation into the investment in the companies owned by Jaganmohan Reddy.
