The Government has sent a central team of doctors to Mumbai to ascertain facts about reported cases of Drug Resistant Tuberculosis (TB) cases. According to an official release, the central team comprises of four members led by a Senior Chief Medical Officer.
A team from the Indian arm of the World Health Organisation (WHO) reached Mumbai on Monday and begun situation analysis.
According to reports, 12 patients with totally drug resistant TB cases were reported in the city on the 6th of this month.
