China has dispatched a total of 650,000 kits to India today. These include Rapid Antibody Tests and RNA Extraction Kits. Indian Ambassador to China, Vikram Misri said in a tweet that the kits were dispatched early today from Guangzhou airport. The rapid testing kits are to be used in hotspots with high COVID 19 infection rates.

Sources said External Affairs Ministry has been at the forefront of the government’s Covid-19 response to ensure vital medical supplies from other countries. As part of these efforts, the Rapid Antibody Testing Kits and RNA Extraction Kits were all custom cleared late last night and have left this morning for India. Sources said these kits should reach today.
