In Uttar Pradesh State Congress has reiterated its demand of judicial inquiry in Bhatta Parsaul incident in Gautam Buddha Nagar district. Party has demanded dismissal of Mayawati government for its failure to discharge its constitutional responsibilities. Our AIR Lucknow correspondent reports that Congress leaders have handed over a memorandum to the state governor BL Joshi seeking CBI inquiry into Deputy Chief Medical Officer Y S Sachan’s mysterious death in Lucknow jail and murder of two CMOs at Lucknow and the alleged rape and murder of a teenaged girl inside a police station in Lakhimpur.

Earlier Hundred of Congress activists which included State president and senior leaders were arrested after they defy prohibitory orders to take out `Nyaya March’ to protest against worsening law and order situation in the State. The party was denied permission for the demonstration by the state government.
