Senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh has said that the government has done the best possible for an effective Lokpal within the ambit of Parliamentary democracy.

In a four page letter to Anna Hazare, Digvijay said that he respects him for his social work but cautioned him about his aides like Arving Kejriwal, Shanti Bhushan and Prashant Bhushan, to whom Digvijay Singh referred as known anti-congress persons.

He further said that when Anna denies that BJP and RSS are behind him then his credibility is at stake.

Digvijay urged Anna to join politics but advised him to choose right friends.

He also urged Anna Hazare and his associates to differentiate between Congress and other parties on the issue of corruption.

He claimed that it is because of active efforts of Congress Party and government that politicians and industrialist responsible for corruption are behind bars.

This is in sharp contrast to BJP, whom he alleged of inaction in Bangaru Laxman TV sting operation.

He questioned Anna Hazare by alleging that he target Congress leaders but Praises Narendra Modi.
