  • Dr. Rita Bakshi Organizes International Conference on Reproduction, Fertility & Surrogacy

    New Delhi: International Fertility Centre (IFC) along with A.I.I.M.S. organized International Conference on Reproduction, Fertility and Surrogacy (ICRFS) in AIIMS, New Delhi on 24th May & 25th May 2014 from 8.00 am onwards.  The conference was path-of-parenthoodinaugurated by Dr. C.N. PURANDARE (FIGO President Elect), Mr. SANJAY SRIVASTAVA (Chief Secretary, Delhi) and moderated by Dr. Rita Bakshi, Chairperson, International Fertility Centre (IFC) along with Dr. Alka Kriplani, organizing chairperson ICRFS.

    The Conference also saw Dr. Hassan N. Sallam (Egypt), who spoke on Male Infertility. Dr. Hassan is the pioneer in the field of IVF and doing the treatments in Egypt at a minimal cost from past many years. The conference majorly focussed upon the doctors and lawyers who spoke in favour and against of Third Party Reproduction. Brain storming sessions were there to educate masses on delicate issues like Third party reproduction.

    This Conference is a first Mega International Conference on Reproduction, Fertility & Surrogacy and has been conceptualized with an aim to focus on “sharing the information, knowledge & skill on third party reproduction with the goal of providing cost effective, safe & affordable assisted reproduction technology services such as IVF and Surrogacy”.

    Addressing the audience, Dr. Rita Bakshi, Gynaecologist & Fertility Expert, International Fertility Centre (IFC), New Delhi said, “We are having over 500 delegates from all over India and abroad to share their knowledge and experiences on the serious & delicate issues like reproduction, fertility and surrogacy. We not only have doctors from all over the globe, but we also have lawyers, surrogate parents, counsellors, Diagnostic experts and even surrogate children to participate in this mega event.”

    ICRFS not only saw a huge number of delegates as speakers but it is also open for the young professionals who are likely marry late or are married and wish to have children on later stages, can ask any of the queries related to fertility issues, surrogacy, third party reproduction and many more. The Conclave is open for the general masses on 24th & 25th May 2014 from 11am onwards till 5.00 pm.
