  • Easy win for Sports Campus College, Lucknow

    Mumbai : Man of Match Nitin Singh’s brilliant knock of 68 runs in 87 balls (1X6, 6X4) helped his team to win the match by huge margin of 120 runs against DAV Man of the Match - Nitin Singh from Sports Campus College, Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh)Sr.Secondary School,Punjab in the Coca-Cola Cricket Cup, Inter State leg, played at Trombay in Mumbai on Thursday.

    Sports Campus College, Lucknow won the toss and elected to bat first, while batting first Sports Campus College, Lucknow put up 258 for all out in 45 Over’s. Nitin Singh was well supported by Govind Yadav and Mohsin Ali who scored 48 runs and 46 runs respectively for their team. Vikas Bamel took 3 wickets for his team by giving 47 runs in his over spell and he was well supported by Aman who took 2 wickets for DAV Sr.Secondary School, Punjab.

    In its chase, the DAV Sr. Secondary School Punjab batsmen struggled to chase and fell for 138 runs in 32.2 over’s. Trying his best, batsman Ankit Laller was the top scorer with a respectable 34 Runs in 54balls. Vijay Yadav and Ankit were the top wicket takers with 3 wickets each and they both were well supported by Prashant Srivastav who took two wicket for their team.

    In another match, Sports Campus College, Lucknow won the match against DAV Sr. Secondary School, Punjab by huge margin of 120 runs.. While, Don Bosco M Higher Secondary School, Tamil beat AVR E-Techno School, Vijayawada by 66 runs.

    In the final match of the day, Dehinagar K.C.R. Vidya Pith, West Bengal won the match by two runs against Shreyas Samarpan Vidyalay – Baroda.

    In another match, Salwan Boys Senior Sec. School, Delhi won the match against won the match against St. Jones Jr. College, Hyderabad by 56 runs. While, Don Bosco M Higher Secondary School, Tamil beat AVR E-Techno School, Vijayawada by 66 runs..

    In the final match of the day, Dehinagar K.C.R. Vidya Pith, West Bengal won the match by two runs against Shreyas Samarpan Vidyalay – Baroda.
