Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai is organizing EMergeon ’13, a Business Management fest focussing on the theme “Dawn of New Light – Resurgence of Emerging Markets” on November 08, 2013. This is an initiative of their first batch of 2 year Fulltime Program- PGDM students. The fest will host various events on Marketing, Finance, HR and Operations. Also, the fest will host a cultural extravaganza that will have students from other premier B –Schools across the country such as IIMs, ISB, IIFT, IITs, SP Jain and XLRI participating in the fest. The fest will be first of its kind as the theme of the fest is focused towards doing business in the emerging market countries.

The objective of the fest is to drive ideas at primary level among B School students to bring a focus on assessing future of emerging economies market and capitalize on the forecasted advantages of the businesses. In their efforts to promote ideas driven with a vision to address future economic conditions, Great Lakes’ EMergeon will set forth a platform to pioneer ideas of the future and to groom business ready managers for Emerging Market Economies.
