Mumbai : Fevicol, an iconic brand from Pidilite Industries Ltd. (PIL) presented 10th Annual ‘Caring with Style’ Fashion Show in association with The Cancer Patients Aid Association, held at NSCI, Mumbai on March 1, 2015. Hon’ble CM Shri Devendra Fadnavis graced the occassion as the Chief Guest and expressed a need of society coming together to fight against cancer. Aamir Khan, known for his versatility and his association with numerous social causes shared his thoughts over the very noble cause of supporting cancer patients and extended his full-hearted support. Sonakshi Sinha too walked the ramp in support of the cause. Some of the other celebrities included Zayed Khan, Anu Malik, Varsha Usgaonkar, Mickey Mehta, Diandra Soares, amongst others.

This initiative is a part of Pidilite’s continuous commitment to support children suffering from blood cancer for the 10th show in succession. The fashion show had style icons from the film fraternity, achievers and prominent figures from different walks of life, dressed in creations of ace designers Manish Malhotra and Shaina NC walking the ramp. The occasion was graced by astounding performances of eminent and well known talents. Some of the key names included Shaan, Meet brothers amongst others.

Commenting on the 10th Caring with Style fashion show, Shaina NC said, “The concept of ‘Caring With Style’ is ‘glamour with a purpose’ – bringing fashion and real people together. I have always believed that a good cause and glamour can always go together. We have received inestimable support in the past, and this year too we are looking forward to a grand success like every year.”

Manish Malhotra added, “I feel fortunate to be associated with entire Caring with Style family. I am so delighted today to bring you this show along with Shaina which not only celebrates fashion but also is a cause to raise funds for those who are suffering from cancer. I do wish that this small effort of ours goes a long way in creating awareness on the cause”.

Sapru, Founder Chairman – Cancer Patients Aid Association said, “The ‘Caring With Style ‘ fund raising event being held on March 1 at NSCI is one of the efforts to raise funds for the needy patients. The funds will be utilised to aid children with Leukaemia (as the prognosis is very good and we will be able to aid many more patients and save lives.) So please come forward to support the cause.”
