Government is implementing an integrated National Vector-Borne Disease Control Programme under the National Rural Health Mission to control diseases like Malaria, Chikungunya and Dengue. This was stated by Health and Family Welfare Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad said in the Lok Sabha today.

In a reply to query, he said government has directed community health centres to carry out rapid diagnostic tests and multiple therapies in the disease prone areas to control the diseases. He said, foolproof action plans have been formulated to check parasite diseases.
